Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all are enjoying the coolness of summer so far. I wanted to share with you guys a WIP of my second mermaid piece for Mermay. I am super excited about this piece because I have something special planned for it so stay tuned! 🌼🌿🌻

Happy Friday Everyone! I wanted to let you all know that tomorrow I will be in St. Paul from 10am-5pm for the Art In The Hollow fair in Swede Hollow Park! There will be lots of artists, sculptures, and performers so if you are looking for something fun to do or looking for a unique gift for someone stop on by! I will have this LIMITED signed and framed mermaid print for sale!! <3

My first Mermay piece of the year finished! I am happy how this turned out. <3 I decided to be a little loose with my approach and and am fairly happy with the painterly result. What kinda of new techniques have you been trying to implement into your craft? ~ Prints are available on my website and the breakdown is on my Artstation~

Digital painting process in Photoshop. <3 I am always attracted to blue and purple color palattes. They always find a way into the art I make. How about you? Is there a color that you love to incorporate into your life? If so which one and why?

First mermaid WIP of the year. :) I won't be doing everyday, but I'll do as much as I can. My goal is to draw and paint these all in Photoshop. Laying pencil on paper first is always more comfortable and natural for me, especially since I feel like I have more control. However, this time around I want to get in more digital practice and keep building by my comfort on it. :) When you don't practice digital as much, it can feel like starting over each time haha. When drawing, how do you like to start out?
